As a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society relies on individual support. There are many ways to ensure the vitality of the museum and our ability to preserve and share the past. One of the ways is through one-time and annual fundraising activities and events.

Saturday, November 9, 7 p.m. Get your tickets here!
Raise a glass and help support the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society at the museum’s fall fundraiser!
The evening features live blues music, palm and tarot readers, fortune tellers, a hot sauce tasting, Cajun food and drinks (including a Hurricane tasting), and of course, great silent auction items!
Entertainment for the evening will include live music by Craig Edwards with a blues and bayou flair. Craig Edwards and Tom Randall have performed together for over thirty years, playing all manner of American roots music, from Appalachian fiddle tunes, Blues, Cajun, an Swing to Zydeco on fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and button accordion. Guests can also sign up to have tarot cards or their palms read, or try it themselves with some fortune telling games.
Guests can try a Hurricane cocktail, or purchase specialty beer and wine at the cash bar, sponsored by Wine Cellars 4. A full spread of Cajun cuisine and decadent desserts will tempt taste buds and a hot sauce tasting with Hoardable Hot Sauce will round out the evening. Hoardable is a great way to add tasty heat to any meal and support local farmers in CT & NY. It’s all natural with no chemicals.
Silent auction items include a blues package, jewelry, children’s themed basket, and more.
